  1. Firstly peel off the pumpkin.
  2. Remove the mallow from pumpkin and cut it in small chunks.
  3. Now wash them with clean water.
  4. Turn on the flame pre heat the wok.
  5. Place 3 tbsp oil in the wok and allow it heat sufficiently.
  6. Add 1 tsp fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds, cumin seeds.
  7. Saute the spices for while.
  8. Reduce the flame so that spices don't burn.
  9. Add asafoetida, chopped green chilies, grated ginger and turmeric powder, coriander powder and saute the spice for while.
  10. Now add pumpkin chunks, salt, red chilli powder into it.
  11. Add fennel powder, mango powder mix well.
  12. Add ½ cup water cover the sabzi and cook for 5 minutes.
  13. After 5 minutes stir the sabji nicely.
  14. Cook again for 5 minutes.
  15. Check again. Pumpkin has turned tender.

  17. Add garam masala mix well.
  18. Take it out in a bowl.
